I Got Extra Days!!! :D

Remember the extension letter I submitted last week?

I went to pick it up today...

and guess what?!!!

Well you already know, don't you...hehehe

I Got Extra Days to finish up my master thesis!!!

Alhamdulillah...

Now, I have to work my butt off to finish my thesis...

How am I supposed to finish my Master Thesis on time?

Well, obviously I can't.

Today, I sent an extension letter to the office because clearly I don't have enough time to finish my Master Thesis by this 8th April...

Hopefully I get the extra days so that I can finish my thesis...

At Least I Get Something Done...

My Master Thesis progress...
is not looking so good
according to me of course...
There is always something missing somewhere...
This morning, I did some more literature search
and tomorrow I am going to summarize
what I have read so far
before meeting my supervisor this week...

Other than that,
I am doing my best to improve myself
to be a good daughter...


With that,
I am learning to cook,
do house chores the way they are suppose to be done,
and experiencing the research process of a Master Thesis...

I'm rooting to excel in all of the above list
for this first three month
before the semester ends...

Today, later in the afternoon,
we went to Jitra again...
QA was as more cuter than ever...
Before going back home,
I tucked her to sleep...

Lazy Day Today...

Today, Kedah is having a day off
because it is Sultan Kedah's Birthday
a.k.a. 'Hari Keputeraan Sultan Kedah'

Everyone is pampering themselves at home today
including me...
I browsed the internet in the morning, did some house chores,
slept in the afternoon, spent the day watching tv
and not to mention helping Wahida, my sister
with her homework anywhere I can...

Being lazy sometimes are fun...hehehe




Anyway,
going to sleep now...
I'm recollecting my spirit
to continue doing my master thesis tomorrow...

Tomorrow here I come!

Quite A Busy Day...

Quite a busy day today...
In the morning, I went to the library with Wahida
to dropped off my library books
I did some thesis writing at the Smart Room at the library
about half an hour, we went to mom's office
then went home after mom has finished with her work




In the afternoon, we went to Jitra after Zohor prayer
because mom's meeting were being held there...



It was fun to meet QA again and play and sleep with her...
We stayed until after Maghrib
and went home after our Maghrib prayer...

On our way back home,
we stopped at my mom's friend's house,
Auntie Asiah and Uncle Kamran
It has been a while since we visited them
It was nice to have met them again
and catching up on the family news such as
the progress of marriage preparation
of Auntie Asiah's 2nd son and 1st daughter
which will happen soon...
The catchup conversation went till 10.45pm
and we got home at 11pm

I Don't Know What To Say...

Just to update today's post...

Been at home all day...did some literature search...

fetched my sis, Wahida with mom in the afternoon from school...
go through her homework for the weekend...
she slept through the afternoon after her prayer
and I browsed the Internet until mom and my other sis, Najmie got home...


Ate dinner while accompanying mom breaking her fast for today...
Watched TV with the whole family...
(CSI:Miami, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,
Hum Saath Saath Hain-not all, and Chuck)
It was an enjoyable feeling to be expressing and sharing your enthusiasm with people who enjoyed it as much as you do...


Read one article that I have printed...

Talk About Today...

Today was depressing...and fulfilling, in a way, for me...

Not really for my Master but

I get to spend quality time with my little sister, Wahida...

Today Wahida didn't go to school because of valid reasons...

mom and my other sister, Najmie are out because of work and classes...

so it leaves me and Wahida...

Our day commenced on the afternoon after Wahida showered and we ate lunch...

For the day, my mood in doing my Master has diminished...hehehe

I turned my attention away from my Master to her...I don't know why...

After she phoned her friends

for homework of the day,

she asked for my help in doing the homework...

The whole evening

I helped her with her Bahasa Melayu homework, Khat writing and her Mathematics...

and surprisingly we had a great time together....

After Maghrib, I even assist her in her Al-Qur'an recitation...

I was enjoying every minute of it...

Wait, I was forgetting my Master again!!!

It has been 3 days since my meet up with my supervisor...

I hope that I have adequate understanding of what I wanted to do till our next meet up next week...

Ya Allah, give me strength to do this in time...

Still Working On It....

Today was great despite that nothing regarding my thesis was achieved...
However, I have to view this situation in a positive way...

My morning started at 11am...mom decided to let me sleep as I am coz she said I looked a bit unwell...that's true...I had a slight stomachache this morning...

After tidying the bed and showered, I helped mom with the cooking but she ended up doing most of it since I was still not feeling that well...we ate lunch together and at 1.30pm mom asked me whether I wanted to fetch my sister Wahida from school...and I answered yes...So we went to fetch Wahida...

After that mom dropped us at home to go for her meeting...

Arriving home, Wahida and I decided to do some short revision...
Since this week is still in her 1st week and to be precise, her 3rd day of school, I decided to help her in organizing her textbooks and exercise books and we went through lessons she learned in school from day one...
I hope that I can be of a help to her since she's facing the UPSR exam this year...
So our revision went till 4.30pm and then Wahida said that she wanted to go swimming since today was Tuesday...

Sunday and Tuesday is the best day to go swimming as the swimming pool at the sport complex will only be opened for females...

So swimming it is...I didn't join coz didn't have the mood so I just watch from nearby at the benches...

it went till 6.30pm...I spent my time by reading books and occasional short visit to my sister who were having the time of her life in the water...

and the time passed by...we arrived home at 7.40pm after picking up my other sister Najmie from the university's horse ranch...EQUIN...

At 8pm I listened to Wahida’s recitation of ayat in Al-Qur’an...

and after that we watched TV upon a request from KL...hehehe...

We watched a reality show titled ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ as my sister Intan wanted to know the result about who were eliminated and who was safe for the next round....

and after that we ended up watching a drama series on channel 8TV titled ‘Ghost Whisperer’...
It’s been a while since I watched this drama series...


From what I have experienced today, I take what I wasn’t suppose to do as a lesson for me so that I don’t repeat them in the near future...
and I will try to arrange my time with helping my little sister, time preparing meals, time for my thesis, time for house chores, etc. to improve myself to be a better person...

There’s a lot of self-disciplining that I have to realize...

The time to change is not tomorrow but NOW!!!!

It's Not Working Out For Me...

I'm in the commencement of my master thesis and I started it at home...

Hmm..what can I expect? Something to be accomplished...
Well guess what? Little were achieved...and I ended up sleeping until mom came back for lunch and my short rest became a long one up until nighttime and still I was stuck to watching TV...

AAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need a lot of willpower and high spirit to finish this thesis of mine....
I just realized the burning determination I had in the beginning had decreased rapidly...and I need to get it back b4 it's too late....

My second meet up with my supervisor would be next week after she return from KL and I have to be ready with whatever I have to show her...

Ya Allah, please give me guidance to bring myself to the right path...

It's the 3rd of January today...
Today happened to be my little sister's birthday...
my cute chibihetalia-fan Aini...

Although she has returned to KL yesterday, I called her to sing her the birthday song...:)

Moving on to my day event...
I started my day with a first meet up with my master thesis supervisor at 9.30am...
After the meeting, I had to run some registration process since I haven't registered yet
and to submit the master thesis form in order to confirm that I already have a supervisor since I just got her signature and stamp after the meeting...

Next, after my sister Najmie finished her morning class, we went to run some errands of going to the ATM machine and paying electricity and telephone bills at the UUM post office...
and also we bought the Kaspersky Internet Security and black ink for my printer...
I am grateful that my laptop now is secured with a legitimate license
and my printer is working again...
it will be handy in aiding my master thesis process...
Alhamdulillah....

I pray that I can be persistent and consistent
and continuously determined to finish my master thesis...
Ya Allah, please give me strength to do this thesis Ya Allah...

Happy New Year!!!

Assalaamu'alaikum and a Wonderful Day to my blog readers...
(if I still have one)

It's been a century since I last blog about my life...(as usual)

I've been a reader of my sis Najmie's blog since she always updated hers...hehe
also a regular reader of my sis Feshnie's blog since she regularly updated hers due to time constraints...hehe
and once in a blue moon reader of my sis Intan's blog due to her long posts updates...hehe

Anyway, just updating to wish all of my readers a Happy New Year...
For all Muslims out there, it is still Muharram month...I pray that wonderful things happen in this special first month of the new year of Hijriah 1431...

oh yeah!!! This year started with a full blue moon in the air...It must truly be a beautiful sight...Subhanallah...


My Current Status: Back as a master student...the semester started on the 28th Dec 2009 (just the end of last year....hahahaha....funny that I should say that...hmm)

A lot has happened last year...
1- Some of my friends got engaged, some, married...others, may it be they were pregnant or having a baby...Congratulations to all of them...I'm twice as happy for them...

2- However, my result for last semester however decreased from a 3.5... to 3.4... and it was so frustrating...I gave my best in the class and went to see the lecturer and all...and what did I get? *inhale* *exhale* alhamdulillah...everything happened for a reason...anyway, I'm thankful for the result that I get :)

3- Also after my final exams, I went to KL and stayed there for the month...during that time I was given the opportunity to help and facilitate foster children from Darul Izzah Dormitory (which originated from Bangi) for 11 days...most of them lost their father and were sent to Darul Izzah to be cared for since their mothers cannot give care and enough attention to them due to personal and financial problems after loosing their husbands...some were divorced and their child were sent away to this foster home...We bonded pretty well since I also lost my father 9 years ago in a car accident...I missed them as the 11-day school break camp ended (18 Dec 09 - 28 Dec 09)...
